Nabil Rashidi

Nabil specializes in managing diversity and establishing inclusion in corporations, organizations and communities. He is currently working on two major long term contracts with Settlement & Integration Services Organization (SIS0) and Hamilton's Centre for Civic Inclusion (HCCI) to establish and sustain a culture of inclusion in the Hamilton, Ontario region.

Born in Saudi Arabia and from an Iranian background, Nabil understands the Middle East. He has lived and worked in the Gulf and has facilitated the process for several companies from North America and Europe to do business in the region.

Nabil has worked at the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) assisting the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Arab World. In addition, Nabil was part of organizing the regional women's conference Beijing+10 and other Arab development projects.

Nabil is an alumnus of McMaster's political science program with a focus on political economy and international development. At McMaster he established and directed Diversity Services and Bridges Café, a $700,000 project to promote diversity on MAC's campus.
