Nabil specializes in managing diversity and establishing inclusion in corporations, organizations and communities. He is currently working on two major long term contracts
with Settlement & Integration Services Organization (SIS0) and Hamilton's Centre for Civic Inclusion (HCCI) to establish and sustain a culture of inclusion in the
Hamilton, Ontario region.
Born in Saudi Arabia and from an Iranian background, Nabil understands the
Middle East. He has lived and worked in the Gulf and has facilitated the
process for several companies from North America and Europe to do business
in the region.
Nabil has worked at the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for
Western Asia (ESCWA) assisting the development of
small and medium-sized enterprises in the Arab World. In addition, Nabil was
part of organizing the regional women's conference Beijing+10 and other Arab
development projects.
Nabil is an alumnus of McMaster's political science program with a focus on
political economy and international development. At McMaster he established
and directed Diversity Services and Bridges Café, a $700,000 project to promote diversity on MAC's campus.
